Virtual Assistant (VA) - "Hybrid Gig"


INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR or TEMP-TO-HIRE, flex/full time, non-supervisory position, up to 32 hours per week (Monday - Friday) paid on an hourly basis or project. Reports to Executive Director.


Up to $15/hr DOE


Work from home to support Lanesboro Area Chamber of Commerce with daily administrative tasks and schedules. This hybrid position merges duties described in Office Administrator (OA) and Visitor Center Receptionist (VCR) that can be accomplished remotely.

  • Have a working knowledge of key visitor attractions in Lanesboro area and Bluff Country with ability and desire to learn more;

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the public;

  • Tech Savvy: High level of proficiency with latest workplace technologies (Google Workplace environment, communication and productivity incl. VoIP, Slack, Trello, Constant Contact, etc.);

  • Proficiency in internet research;

  • Must have a PC and reliable internet connection;

  • Creative writing experience preferred.
